The N-225 totally makes sense to me. [thumbup]

It's a Hot Rod guitar, I got the ebony with pinstripes by Rick Harris.

Like Hot Rod cars, it's been stripped for some parts,

and then some were added for looks, a tuneup and finally a cool paintjob.

No bindings, and a simple tremolo system ..... fenders removed and suspension lowered.

Dirty fingers+ and a P-90 ..... powerful engine for tearing up the road or smooth cruising.

Block inlay at the first fret and split diamond on the head .... it's CUSTOM BLING.

Pinstripes by Rick Harris on a silk matt black guitar .... That's an AWESOME Hot Rod paintjob.

This is a fresh new approach from Gibson .... first genuine new design in years. [rolleyes]

Not everyone likes hot rods, but they can get Fords , Chryslers or Cadilacs .... SG's and Les Pauls for the masses.

Don't get me wrong, Les Paul and SG are the main tools of guitarists,

but not much different from last years or last centurys models.

If only "the BIG FOUR" existed .... Les Paul , SG , Stratocaster , Telecaster , music would be somewhat boring. [thumbdn]

I doubt that the N-225 will become a Classic, but nice try Gibson, I am so happy with mine. [biggrin]

Best Regards

Peter
