I've been playing an XT-25 bass for a few years now, and love it. I prefer flatwounds, and I use Status Graphite Nylon wound strings on the bass which are excellent.

I'm thinking of treating myself to a GT Pro (I play aa little rhythm guitar as well), but again, I prefer flatwound strings.

Does anyone know if anywhere I can get double ball end flat wound strings, or am I going to have to get a string adaptor and use normal strings?

Are there any other alternatives to flat wound (coated, half round etc) that might be similar (again, preferably in double ball end)
