Purchased in 1959 and has been sitting in the original snake skin guitar case. I'm a complete novice in the guitar world, but I would like to know what something like this worth today? According to my14th Edition Blue Book Of Electric Guitars, the 1959 - 1960 single cutaway Melody Maker goes for: 98% MINT: $1,750 95% EXC+: $1,400 90% EXC: $1,125 80% VG+: $875 70% VG: $700 60%: G: $575 And the 1959 - 1960 3/4 Melody Maker is worth: 98% MINT: $1,100 95% EXC+: $875 90% EXC: $725 80% VG+: $550 70% VG: $450 60% G: $350 Hope this helps.
