Any of the fellas that have a recent L-00 TVs or one of Ren's archetype anniversaries, would you post a sound sample or video if you have one?.Thanks, in advance. Rambler. Stranded in the North Woods, far from where the Gibsons roam.

So here is my attempt. 2012 L00-TV. Sound quality is not great and playing is not great either. Recorded on a Sony Handycam .... not know for sound quality. Strings are D'Addario EJ16 lights .012 - .053 ... fairly new but out of the jangle stage. Any jangle/rattle is operator error, not the fault of the guitar.

Thanks, JDD. No apologies necessary. Tells me a piece of the story. R

Sounds very good to my ears. Might not have the dry, grumpy tone of old LG's but a wonderful example of how a modern small bodied Gibson should sound. [thumbup]

Yeah, I have to admit that the sound to me is different listening to the video than it is when playing (goes without saying but I said it). I think the highs are quite nice ... ringing out unlike the old small bodies or the Blues King. Also more personality than the small body modern Martins that I've been playing. A keeper for sure.

Well, I have one but no idea how to record a sample. Can this be done on an iphone, anyone?
I will say that mine does not sound much like jdd's sample, a statement he also agrees with re. his. In person the trebles are less Gibsonish and more refined to my ears. Mids and lows are more in line with a Pro (or possibly a bubinga Blues King).
Might keep mine too. Just moved the pickguard to where it should have been placed to begin with. Definitely a labour of love.

CE, on your iPhone just go to the camera and there is a button to slide it over to video. Not the best sound in the world but not too bad.
