Will there be any Gibson Banjo's in the near future, sounds like they may have help w/ the Recording King Avalon.

I have heard nothing -- I can check with someone who might know. They have built no banjos since the flood as far as I know.

Greg Rich, who has always been the banjo guy at Recording King, ran the Gibson Banjo Division from the late 80s to the mid 90s. He (1) is credited with binging Gibson back from the abyss and reestablishing them has a premier maker and (2) left on less than perfect terms to found Rich and Taylor banjo company. If you are right, this could be interesting.

Let's pick,

-Tom

I have taken banjo lessons for several years and am ready to purchase a Gibson banjo. I was wondering if anyone knew any good places to look to get the best deal possible? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
