Greg Rich, who has always been the banjo guy at Recording King, ran the Gibson Banjo Division from the late 80s to the mid 90s. He (1) is credited with binging Gibson back from the abyss and reestablishing them has a premier maker and (2) left on less than perfect terms to found Rich and Taylor banjo company.
