Gibson Min-Etune

Gibson has had automatic tuners around for a while, but these got me thinking. Anyone know if they would drop into a G-400? I would love a set for alternate tuning, especially for slide guitar, yeah baby! I know they would add some weight to the head stock, but I use a leather strap with a suede back and I have never had any neck diving issues.

I just emailed Gibson, so I'll see what they have to say. But please, comment if you know anything.

Only available on Gibson production guitars.

Pretty sure you can't just drop them into a g-400 or any other guitar. The head might have to be cut differently.

I played with one of these at a local guitar center. I tried both the Les Paul Min-Etune as well as the SG Min-Etune. The tuning is not as fast as it shows in the video. the Low E and high E took a while to come into tune as I had to keep strumming it before it finally went into tune. I originally thought it would take like 2-3 strums and then bam your guitar is tuned. But in real life, not the case.
