Southpaweddie
I'm wondering what you folks think about his LP? Looks a little dicey, but I'm no LP expert. The lack of pearloid diamond inlay on the headstock seems odd to me. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160975158416
stein
I think "dicey" is the word. It's NOT a Custom, that's a different model. The bottom pic is too distorted to really tell anything for sure, but it doesn't look to be a correct shape exactly like it should be. The headstock pic actually resembles very much the shape of a common copy, although that could be a little distortion as well. But it looks wrong to me. Ryan H
Even if it Is a legitimate Gibson Les Paul (not a Custom by any means), they've falsely advertised it. The seller claims ebony fretboard; that's very obviously rosewood. He claims block inlays; those are trapezoids. He claims gold knobs; those are very clearly amber. I would steer clear of it, and possibly report for false advertising. -Ryan
Gibson Mad Mike
From the back the head looks like it's made of several thin slats to make up the shape of the head, most I've seen is one a side.
