What model is this semi?

Date on the clip is 2009, so it can't be a '62 Anniversary model. Also, the headstock shape is the standard Epi, not the '62 shape. IMHO it's a standard Korean-made Riviera, either from the late 90's or when they ran them again a few years ago. Great guitars - I've had 2 and like both a lot.

Very interesting.

It is not the new '62 Sheraton reissue,

and it is not a Riviera.

It's a Sheraton,

but exactly which one?

-Frequensator

-Mini-humbuckers

-Narrow hourglass headstock

-Two screw early '60s style TRC

-Typical Sheraton inlays

Lots of original Sheraton features,

other than the black finish.

The headstock shape suggests the work of Terada,

as seen on the AIUSA Sheraton,

in which the hourglass is not as elongated,

and contains a slightly wider flare

(this was changed on the Terada Elitist,

along with a different 3 screw TRC).

Not quite like anything I've yet run across.

Maybe produced for the Japanese market?

Yeah, since it's in Black, I would guess it was either a special order, refinished,

or...only available in Japan. Unless of course, it's an original Kalamazoo Sheri...

but, even then, it would still have to have been refinished "black," as Kalamazoo

Sheraton's were only offered in Sunburst, Natural, and (in 1965) Cherry. So...???

A bit off topic as far as identifying the guitar goes, but what's meant by "crackin' film clip"? That's probably the most horrendous version of that song I've ever heard. Until I looked it up (after watching the vid) I thought Rockwiz was some sort of X-Factor talent show and those two were contestants. Who told those people they could sing?

Agreed, Jonny. What an atrocious performance...she with her thin voice, he with his dead-fish stage presence.

Isn't Rockwiz something you do while hiking in the high Sierras?
