Hi everyone. I'm an old road dawg... been gigging since 1965. First gigging electric axe was a single PUP Gibson Melody Maker (sadly gone). Next up was a Gibson ES330TDC (also sadly gone). Then due to apparent insanity, I drifted away to many other brands not to be mentioned on this great forum. A few years ago I drifted back and came home with a new Firebird 120th Anniversary. I'm now back to Gibson with a vengeance and have since added some more new ones: all new 2018 models: Special Gold Edition SG, a Les Paul Standard and a Thunderbird bass. The latest crown jewel just a few days ago was a score on an absolutely mint 1978 ES335TD, one owner with low mileage. I figured it was high time to join the Gibson forum. While on the subject of the 335, I'm curious how many years Gibson had the coil tap switch on the upper right cutaway. It sounds great. Glad to be aboard folks!
