  1. Trust me, try a set of Pyramid Western Folk Strings. They give my Hummingbird TV that classic 60's Hummingbird sweet warmth . The only problem is I can't find them on the shelf in stores here in the US. But they can always be ordered online. They last longer than the Gibson or John Pearse Strings. I like them a lot better than Elixirs on My Bird. If I didn't have the Pyramid Westerns I would use DR Sunbeams.
  2. My original post was a year ago with my Hummingbird MC. Im using D'addario EXP 12's on the TV. I like them If it aint broke, don't fix it.
  3. I definitely hear it! Im glad mine doesn't sound like that. Im not sure what the culprit is, but hopefully they can get it sorted out.
  4. Im still undecided. Im currently still using the factory strings which I understand to be 80/20 lights. My next string change will be p's. Daddarios. After that I am going to try John Pearse. Then I will report back. So keep this thread open for a while. We have quite a few new hummingbird owners. Give us some time and you will have more responses. In the meantime, thanks for posing this question. Hopefully I can get some other ideas about the direction I want to go.
