Hmm My strings last until i can be bothered to change them, these guys who say you need new strings every week, well they obviously like all the treble of new strings, but the rounder tone of old strings is good too! As for amps.. Get a tiny terror! and maybe a nice rotary/chorus pedal and you're sorted!

Fretboard Oiled =P getting the neck oiled wont do much' date=' only make it a bit sticky. If you lemon-oil it personally, dont leave the stuff on too long, as it can make the wood go all soft, and cause the frets to come out =/ And when buying polish. Remember to ask if its [b']Nitro Safe[/b]. Or you could take the finish off. Any more questions then Just ask. However in the terms and conditions you must post pics after you have done somthing to your guitar. Or Else...

Get a good bottle of polish on it, and scrape the gunk off the fretboard with and credit card, Lemon oil it, Restring (maybe check the setup as well) And your awesome guitar is even awesome-er
