  1. I was considering a 2014 Traditional. I found a 2013 in Chicago Blue at an incredible price and picked it up last Friday.
  2. I just got my Nighthawk Custom Reissue today. Nothing in the box but the guitar. I called AMS customer service and asked if I could at least get the owner's manual, warranty card and truss rod wrench. He said he checked with his Tech and said NO guitar comes with those things. I have 5 Gibsons and a G&L ..All of them came with owner's manuals, check lists, and warranty cards. A couple came with a truss rod wrench and COA. The Nighthawk is a nice, low budget guitar, but if it supposed to come with these items I feel a little slighted. AMS cust serv checked their own description and was shocked that all of the the items were supposed to come with a new Epiphone. Instead of offering to try to get these items for me, he suggested I call Epiphone myself and ask for them. I called Epiphone (actually Gibson), and was told I could get the owners man and warranty on the Epi site, no offer to send me a TRW.
  3. According to what I've read, In Dec 1969 ECL Industries took control of CMI. Gibson Inc. stayed under control of CMI until 1974 when it became a subsidiary of NORLIN industries. In January 1986 Henry Juszkieicz, David Berryman, and Gary Zebrowski bought Gibson for 5 million dollars. I read it here on page 3: http://www.music.ultraviolet.gr/download/GIBSONEL.PDF
  4. I have a 1964 Silvertone 1446 made by Harmony. It came with Gibson pickups that I have read are mini P-90's. The tone is awesome! I recently picked up a new 60's tribute Les Paul .
  5. Here's my 2010 Fireburst Studio.
  6. It doesn't show negative anymore...I changed it, stating that he agreed to our original deal. In the feedback it says it was revised feb 13 2010. I changed it and repurchased the SG.
  7. I don't know how I misunderstood anything. The email he sent me saying that since he sent my money back and canceled the sale he was going to relist it. I replied that I thought he should honor the agreement we had. I emailed him again saying that I didn't think it was fair to relist it before offering it to me first. He ignored both emails How is that a misunderstanding??? Yea the relist has been stopped, I think ebay must have contacted him. He sent me a couple of emails wanting me to retract the negative feeback. In his emails he makes it sound like I screwed him over The last email I got from him today was offering me the SG at the price I originally paid for it, IF I retract the neg feedback. I'm not sure I can trust him now.
  8. I contacted ebay and spoke with a rep. I told her the situation. She advised me and walked me through the process of reporting it to ebay as a fraudulant listing/sale. She said that they will do an investigation of the situation and I will get an email from them when they come to a conclusion of what should be done about the matter. I get the feeling some think I'm making up this entire story.. below is a link to the current listing. Check out his feedback, you'll recognize my name as the one that gave him his first negative feedback. From the feedback you can view the listing that I had won. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180468363786&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  9. If you have trouble finding the post I mentioned with the pics. If I did it right it the link should take you to it. http://forums.gibson.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=27390
  10. I don't appreciate the accusations...If you want to see the pics of the guitars I play...I posted pics of them in the new member section. I have a 1971 Gibson ES 335 and a 1964 Silvertone with a Bigsby tailpiece and P-90 pickups.
  11. It is a beauty, and was really looking forward to owning this SG.
