Recording my video clip tomorrow...
07 June 2013 - 03:48 AM
So tomorrow's the big day! We have to be at the studio at 8am bright eyed and bushy tailed, all 12 of us... \
/ We are bringing the whole set up as if we were going to play a gig but I'm not sure if we will actually play live or do a playback to the recorded version... If we only do a playback version I'm going to ask them to record a live take as well. Having the whole group and a couple guest players is going to sound amazing... We will be; bass, drums, 3 guitars (including me), 2 trombones, sax, trumpet, flute, 2 female backing singers and myself on lead vocal as well... Now I am not a great singer or anything but the song is a rocker and I can pull it off...
Has anyone here ever done a video clip? Whats the norm to play the song live and they sync it up to the recorded track or just have the track blasting and we go through all the moves as if we were playing it live? -
Well Done Gibson, you got it right this time...

Haven't even read the stats yet but just from the looks and price I can say I want one... Read about it here...

MSRP is around $3500 so actual price sould be just around the price of a LP Standard or Traditional... Let's say $2200ish... Just wish it had a rosewood fingerboard... -
Eating Healthy
30 May 2013 - 04:51 AM
Last September I went on a cruise. We had a great time, eat like pigs and lounged around for about a week. Ate excessively every day, it was all included and excellent food. At the end of the cruise I had put on at least 5 lbs but could have been closer to 10
After the cruise I decided to go on a diet. I felt horrible, my close didn't fit, my blood pressure was through the roof and I would have an occasional tightness in my chest accompanied with feeling really sick...
I had a Doctor/dietician do the diet... Was hard at first to get off the crap but it was well worth it... I was seeing results almost immediately, lost a couple lbs the first week... All in all I went from 250 lbs to 215 lbs where I am now. The best part about eating a healthy diet is you can eat as much as you like and its all good. Fish, chicken breast, steak, salads, vegetables...etc Eat as much as you like and eat 5 times a day. The diet gets a little more complicated and involves eating the right combination of foods at the right time too.
I lost 35 lbs, my blood pressure went from 168 over 89 to 120 over 70... I don't sweat like I used too, my close fit, I have more energy and I'm playing guitar better than ever... Ok not sure if the last bit relates but the benefits go on and on...
Eating healthy doesn't have to be bad. I don't even crave all the crape I used to shove in my face everyday. Aside from the fact that if it's fresh and you made it you know what you are eating... Stay away from the starches, sweets, wheat, rice, potatoes, beans. Sounds though I know, but it's not all that and once you loose the weight you want and are just on a maintenance program you can have the occasional thing you miss or crave...

26 Jan 2011 - 09:56Everything's fine with the Robot, no problems so far and the sound is great. The only thing that bugs me a little is the sticky neck, but that's the way it is with most new gibbies anyway :D
