  1. That is not a Custom Shop label and it's not for a Keb' Mo' 3.0 J45. I own one and that's not the label. If it's being advertised as such - it's a fraud. If you're simply assuming, it is not. You won't find a new Gibson from Japan for less than half of a U.S. price. The Keb' Mo' isn't just a 12-fret Gibson. It's a unique, custom shop production that is the best sounding Gibson acoustics I've ever played. The combination of features makes this a stellar guitar.
  2. Exactly I keep an Epiphone AJ-200SR/VS that was used on stage for over 10 years that plays and sounds fantastic. Plays like butter after proper set up (like most guitars need) and proper play. Solid top, laminate back & sides. It could probably be sold if necessary for $250-$300. Nonetheless a very nice guitar. It now lives in the closet at my mountain place for use when I'm there.
  3. They have been almost universally reviewed by owners to sound, play and feel fantastic regardless of the troll posts to the contrary. The secret is to play and purchase what you like. My J-15 is just as nice as my other guitars.
