  1. What he’s trying to say, if your screw is to big for the plate hole (but fits the pickup) use a tap that matches your replacement screw threads and tap the plate to fit the screw. As it appears that you’re not getting a screw “stock” to fit btw how the heck does one ‘wear out’ a pickup adjustment screw?
  2. 335 wiring is a pain as it’s installed through the F holes (the reason they’re called that) 😂 just bring it to the shop they should be able to fix/replace the volume control btw watch out you don’t have the pickup selector in the middle position both volume controls effect volume of guitar
  3. You have to remember this is a forum of Gibson owners not a Gibson customer service custom shop serial number are different than the standard 1&5 serial number decoding probably be best to send pictures to Gibson customer service
  4. You’ll need to post some pictures using an imaging site like imgur.com for anyone here could take a look. serial number alone won’t verify it.
  5. Pretty easy google, standard is 5/64 low E, 4/64 high E measured own at 12th fret at first fret open string just clears the fret as you don’t want it to buzz that capo fret 1, hold 17th down, this creates a ‘straight edge’ measure at 7th fret 4thou to 8thou hint standard paper is 4thou thick and 8 folded over, a standard business card is 12thou make sure gap st 7th fret is 1 to 2 pieces of paper
  6. I seem to remember reports of people that had the faded finishes way back in like 2007-2009 that would get this haven’t heard on this in a very long time, believe everyone was saying super thin finish on these faded’s if you do a search on this forum should show up unless they deleted some of the forum history
  7. Cesar Gueikian to the role of President and CEO of Gibson Brands https://www.gibson.com/en-US/About-Us# 209 10th Ave South Suite 460 Nashville, TN 37203 good luck.
  8. The line on the nut is the nitro finish “cut” line where the paint masking tape is. its nitro over the nut as it’s a time to mask the nut
  9. @Sheepdog1969 who is : John Bonomassa there is a Joe Bonamassa and he's pretty darn good with history of guitars
  10. @yarns nobody attaches pictures straight in we all have to use a picture hosting site like imgur.com and paste the jpg link here
  11. The real question is: does it feel smooth or notched out like a chip smooth means just glitch in finishing notched means it got banged somewhere that heal also might take a lot of rubbing every time it’s in n out of a case
  12. It’s a double neck from what I understand I think they computer scanned his EDS1275
  13. Open up a imgur.com account upload your pictures to it post img links in your post
  14. Price increases have nothing to do with a current government, same argument for more than 100yrs, want some tea? all prices go up yearly regardless if JFK was in. check out a price of a car in 2022 then today in 2024, poof, in “old days” cars increased in Sept. Gibson seems to increase in new yrs/spring. Now i just have to figure out how to pay for bread and milk , how much is a gallon of gas?
  15. I’m pretty sure my house hun is outside from utility connection
