  1. Ever see the Studio Faded? If this was there instead of the BFG, I may have been sold. I know it's a Studio but it's still pretty nice looking if you ask me.
  2. I did one, but I think I read that someone else did one before I even owned mine, that and I saw one on eBay. I had a tough time getting rid of the ground buzz. I've modded and hot rodded almost every guitar I've owned in some way without a problem until I tweaked the BFG. I definitely wouldn't do it again... too many headaches. I only did it because the kill switch wasn't for me, it was fun to play around with, but unnecessary. Plus, I always liked how LP's had the toggle switch on top. I wish I could get another wood knob like the ones the BFG came with, I do prefer them to the bell or speed knobs.
  3. Welcome to the forum from another BFG fan. I get all of my wiring diagrams from the Seymour Duncan website. If you do rewire your BFG, use shielded wire, at least for the jack to switch connection or you may have the same ground buzz problem I had. Also, you may want a standard Switchcraft toggle switch, since the Gibson one is too big and will push the cavity cover up as well and a bigger washer for the new tone pot. I couldn't find a good one, so I stacked 2 on mine and it works fine. A short shaft pot should work if you can't get a long one.
