  1. Yeah, it's fake. As pointed out the control layout area is not right(where is should be on a real LP), the back route for the controls look off as well as the cover looks cheap and as said above textured, also as said above the serial number font and size is all wrong. A couple other things I noticed is that the headstock doesn't seem to be 3 pieces and to my eyes the top of the body looks like more of a veneer instead of a maple cap. Another thing that sticks out to my eyes is that the binding(especially on the neck) is incredibly white, looks like it would glow in the dark it is so bright white. I'd stay waaayyyyyyy away from that guitar. Just sayin hotrod
  2. Maybe an SG Special that someone had stripped and stained the ebony color? I say stained because it seems as if you can see the grain on the body really well. Ebony nitro should hide the grain unless it was extremely thin. Looks like a nice SG regardless. hotrod
  3. Find you an amp that sounds the best to your ears, that is the BEST amp for you. As for valve and small, yes the VHT is a fine choice. Also maybe the Fender Champion 600 or a Vox AC4TV8(combo) or Vox AC4TVH(head). The AC4TVH with the right cabinet is a pretty nice piece, sound wise. But of course everyone's ears are different. If you have a music shop close by then try several different amps out in person and find the one that is right for you and sounds the best to you. That is your best bet. Good luck hotrod
