  1. Happy Thanksgiving Day

Has everyone done all their Thanksgiving Day shopping, for whatever holiday dinner they're going to have? I bought a fresh turkey a couple of days ago, and also what I hope is all the fixings. We're having dinner for the daughter, wife, and myself. But turkey leftovers are always welcomed for a few days.

A Happy Thanksgiving to Yawl'. God Bless.
  2. SG Stamped Truss Rod Covers

    19 November 2017 - 10:26 AM

I recently acquired two 2018 SG Std. Basses, and they no longer have SG stamped truss rod covers. The truss rod covers are now the plain black bell covers. Why were the SG stamped truss rod covers discontinued for use?
  3. NBD: 2018 SG Std. Bass.

    07 November 2017 - 06:30 PM

I received my 2018 Heritage Cherry SG Std. bass today. It's about the same as the 2015 SG Std., except the fretboard inlays aren't Mother of Pearl anymore. The original brown Gibson USA case is back as well. My 2018 is really finished well. Gibson did a great job creating it. It's nice to see Gibson turning out SG Std. basses again.

  4. 2018 SG Std. Bass

    02 November 2017 - 10:35 AM

I was surprised to see 2018 SG Std. Basses back out on the Sweetwater site. They have the Heritage Cherry, Walnut, and will be getting the SG Std. in Ebony. I placed an order for a Heritage Cherry. I'm hoping it shows up on Tuesday of next week.
