  1. Coming late to this thread but I am a new customer of Epiphone guitars. I just purchased an EJ-200CE/N acoustic electric from a Sam Ash retail store. The guitar was hanging on the wall and I simply took it down, played it without an amp and liked it. I purchased the guitar as a gift for my son who is interested in learning to play. I understood the guitar did not come with a case and they did not have the Epiphone "signature" case for it so I just bought a Gator hardcase. I must confess I did not pay a lot of attention to what went in the case because we were also buying other things like a strap, capo, tuner, plus drum stuff for me. When I got home, I discovered there was nothing in the case at all. There is no manual for anything, no cord, no truss rod wrench, nothing. Now granted, in the grand scheme of things, this doesn't amount to much and is more a reflection of my own personality that I actually would like to have those things. I'm one of those people that saves the window sticker from new vehicles. It would be nice if there were a way to simply order this from Epiphone directly because my call to the Sam Ash store left me less than satisfied. I got the response I expected so I wasn't surprised that they simply said to register it online and thankfully, I was able to find resources here so I could see how the eSonic2 works. Still, I would like to be able to have the hardcopy items that I'm sure the Sam Ash people probably lost, misplaced or stole when the guitar was unboxed. I take this as a learning experience and they will probably lose business from me because of this. I will give it one more shot though and attempt to contact the specific salesman that helped me and see how he responds. No satisfactory response and when I buy the Ultra II or whatever else, I can just as easily take my business on-line which sadly, seems to give better service these days. Jet
