Hi Terry -- On my guitar, both the fastening screws (phillips) and the height adjustment screws (single-slot) are just normal metal color; unpainted. So, in your case, it sounds like "nickel" color would do.

Have found the correct creme pick-ups for my Gold '74 LP Signature, with the the Gibson name embossed on them. I want to use the correct color screws for installing the pick-ups. Are they nickel gold, or black on your guitar? Thanks!
