Gibson strings are D'addario. D'addario make Gibson's strings. Gibson order them with brass ball ends.

I'm pretty convinced that's a one piece back. I think Pippy is correct, the only LPs spec'd as having a one piece back are reissues but there's plenty of LPs out there which just happen to have a one piece back. RCT is also correct. It's arguably better to have multiple pieces. It will be more stable, not that I think there's many LPs out there with warped bodies. I did have one, interestingly a reissue with a one piece back, it was replaced.

[laugh] Because of Ohms, Amperes are restricted to about two third the speed of light. Yet it makes the depicted context too hard to see for the naked eye! [biggrin]

Doesn't really make sense. Amperes are an abstract concept, not a thing. Electrons, however, have been perceived as travelling as slow as 1.3mph through sodium at close to 0k. [thumbup]

As that thread was unfolding and myself, pippy and Flight watched it unfold we all went for a beer one night at a local open mic and we got chatting to a chap who had worked at the local music shop for ever. Turned it out was they who swapped the neck and had been involved way back when.

His name is Keith Turkington. Remember this was a few years back, so his charges maybe more now.

He fixes x ray machines in the day and makes guitars and fixes string instruments in the evening.
