Wow!!! Awesome!!! 1989! That is pretty BRUTAL! It was deadsmack in the middle of some real good Thrash Metal years. Then I was pretty close with my guesstimate. I thought it to be Korean also. I read somewhere that most Japanese models were Korean made. Do you think you could say something about her value? She'll be going to a doctor soon for a complete modern day revitalizing hardware upgrade. No face lift I think she's real sexy looking like this. Many thanks on the info. \m/

Hi, So I'm a Noob and just got a Gibson Epiphone Flying V it's completely trashed, but that makes it look pretty good actually. Problem is, the serial # is only partialy showing! or is it? What I can read is 9042630 After reading a lot about these Serials, Me thinks it's a Japanese, Orville (Korean made) 1989 model. What do you think? The whole thing is made out of one piece.
