I dont think you can buy direct from Gibson Bozeman. Talk to Gibson Bozeman , they may direct you to a dealer. -
Beginning my search for an acoustic that is a pleasure to play

There are alot of really nice guitars out there. I guess you would have to go into a guitar store. Try a few of those. I guess feel and sound would be first. Then a price range that you can afford. the quality of the guitar is important . it has to last and meet your expectations . Do not be in a rush to decide. Guitars are on the walls for you to see the differences as well. Dont get caught up in a salesmens pitch . Or fast hurry up and make a decision. we are here as a group if you get overwelmed in looking at to many. -
Mahogany back and sides. It was Normal. I had a few of those. I would price it no differently than a used J45.

I was at his place last Aug He is doing fine. Talked to him last week. I think hes ready for some warm weather. Us up north keep sending him snow. 😁 as for the J50 ya. They did do dark sides with a lighter back. Ive had a few of those.

Reverb did get expensive. I left ebay long ago. There cash grab was way to much.

I wonder at times if My F4 and harp guitar were handled by Orville at some point
-
Ya. But guild has handcrafted labels as well. On plywood guitars. So I guess there should be no reason for Gibson USA to complain about all those fake les pauls out there someone one was inspired by the US versions. 😁

To be honest. It is a nice looking guitar. Something different but has a good look to it. If I was on the hunt for another acoustic. I would consider one of these.

Wonder what the list is? 4 ish?

Overcoming my irrational fear of the "truss rod"

I think Ive maybe had 6 acoustics that required truss rod adjustments .considering the amount of guitars here. Not a bad average. More of the set ups were on the nuts and saddles . -
It seems to be a problem on most of the acoustics. I have 4 that have those flopping around inside
