The Rose was a Centennial Full size The one model I did not buy. I was to focused on Custom Shop built AJs and SJ200s aside from the 11 Centennial acoustics. Then I did buy a Monarch and a Presentation I tapped out for a couple years after that. 😀 -
How to order from Gibson custom shop? Sj200 with 24.75 scale
slimt replied to gibsonchiq's topic in Gibson Acoustic
If the J200 is set up properly. The scale short length idea will be forgotten. I have quite a few J200s. They are very easy to play. I dont have a issue with finger picking those either -

How come the reissues don't recreate the slim taper headstock?
slimt replied to gibsonchiq's topic in Gibson Acoustic
The Legends are in my opinion. The best in the j45 line . I didnt realize that those had tapered peg heads. -

In some cases scale length , more frets, , types of woods used per original examples. , inner bracing sizes. Neck sizes. Body dimensions. -

Actually Gibson Bozeman did a pretty good job creating The looks and similar sounds of Gibsons from back in the day. But there are a few things that changed Not just the tapered headstock . As is with most guitar manufactures. -

For 1957. I guess first does it have a pick up? Cutaway or non cutaway? 16” wide or 17”? Bound headstock or no? ID is easier with pictures though.

In the 90s these came out. Not a bad guitar. I was not sure of the direction Gibson was going with these though. AJs fit the bill for decent guitars. And these are not of the same tone. It may have to do with the scale length. From what I could hear. I think these were to steer folks away from D-28s
