  1. Deep House sequences, trying to work up to a whole 4 or 5 minute song. Lots of fun. rct
  2. The 0001 is not a gibson serial number, that's not where they put it. It's a post 1970 -ish reissue double cut junior, all of them were mahogany, possibly Cardinal Red, that was a color they did back then. No hybrid or custom body or prototype about it. The weird routing for the pickup is just that, some weird routing, possibly some Kahler or other type of trem bar that people put on them back then. Maybe, I'm not saying it is, I'm saying maybe. Might be hard to see, but serial should be on the back of the headstock. Sometimes the paint is a bit thick up there and fills it in. Some guitars of that time(approximately) had stamped serials, and that may have come and gone if it was one of them. rct
  3. I'm so sorry, brother. Take care. rct

Yeah, you'll need some stuff to make that do anything, and the learning curve is steep. I'm using a Roland SH-4D for my trips into Deep House arpeggiated sequenced 120BPM goodness. It is a tough road, but man it is fun and satisfying. If you like that stuff, that is. Good luck with it. rct
  5. I chortled. Guffawed I tell you. rct
  6. We've been together since 1977, married in 1980. We've done some pretty cool weird crazy stuff, this was right up there with the best of them. Spiral Jetty, Winter in Yellowstone, man, too many to mention but this, this thing was just divine. rct
  7. We are in Solon Ohio. Great drive yesterday, beautiful day today. Clicquot on ice, camp chairs, great spot right outside the hotel. Getting ready to go sit and watch pretty soon. rct
  8. In the 70's I had 2 L6s, they had the varitone. I liked it. rct
  9. That is dope. rct
  10. 13 year old girls and their moms might buy a few million Dead records, can't complain about that. Well, whoever is left and the estates of the rest of that band can't complain. And every time Taylors Version of Sugar Magnolia spins the Dead get paid too. Win Win! rct
  11. This is beyond First World Problem, I don't even think there is a name for this crisis. rct
  12. Wade's Guitar Shop. rct
  13. I laughed. Guffawed. Chortled. Bigly. rct
