Karan A Chanana has steered the Group from a family-run operation into a professionally managed business unit. Today the company, "Amira Foods (India) Ltd." has attained a turnover of USD$ 240 million in last financial year.

Hey Paul. I saw a picture of a KG-10. I did a Google search "Kalamazoo mahogany acoustic" and on one of the links there is a good set of pictures of a KG-10. The bridge looks pretty strange. Looks like it's a wood bridge with an adjustable system built in for the saddle. I'll make sure to email you good close ups of the bridge. I also ordered a copy of your book. It looks really...

Is Bozeman surrently building CF-100s? Didn't think they are, but sounds like a great custom project. I would strongly recommend a RS top on mahogany B&S. Excellent combo of woods. I have build many guitars using these woods and the tone is exceptional.

pfox: Thank you for your contributions.
I would like you opinion on a custom CF-100 build I and planning with Bozeman. The CF-100 is an LG2 size, X-braced, with a cutaway. I was planning on mahogany back and AAA sitka front. You mentioned RS, and that is interesting. I was also thinking about Koa back. The finish will be cherry sunburst.
    Any tonewood comments would b...

24 3/4" SL was the norm, but I have seen some early 20s archtops with the 24 1/4" SL too. Seems that Gibson used both.

Pfox......what was the "normal" SL for the 20's Archtops like mine? I was just playing it this morning, and it is not like an Archtop really....good sustain and lots of Bass...AND the string tension is very light because of the short scale, makes it a joy to play!!!! A real keeper!! The paper label states "L2" nothing about custom etc.....just ANOTHER...

I rechecked the SL because you thought it was strange, and it is exactly 24 1/4". What is the "normal SL you are accustomed to on these archtops? Also 13 frets to the neck, which is interesting...let me know what you think!
