I saw 4 on sale at G-CLUB Shibuya for 110,000 YEN = 728.51 USD or 593.34 GBP not sure if that includes sales tax but for non-food purchases over 5000 yen usually tourists can be exempt from tax in the store or claim back easily at airport. So much cheaper than in the UK, I probably should have brought one home as hand luggage. 3 were darker wine red colour, maybe from the second batch? I also saw an old Supernova in blue in another shop!

Noticed the NG Riviera went up by £100 today to £879 at Bax and Gak.

Thanks I just noticed my 1962 reissue Sheraton bought in 2012 also has this wiring and I was worried it has had a defect since new lol

Anyone got a 1962 50th Anniversary Sheraton?

I just noticed on mine, when the pickup selector is in middle position and bridge volume is max and neck volume is zero there is no output at all where as I would expect to hear the bridge pickup. I was wondering if it has always been that way since I bought it in 2012. Please can someone else check if theirs has same problem? If not then maybe I'll look into a warranty repair. I had success with that when I bought it and the gold was peeling off the pole pieces and they sent me a new pickup to transplant the pieces from (I have never modified the pickup wiring) Thanks Epiphone 50th Ann 1962 Sheraton E212T LE Cherr WC Update : I found this post and it seems normal. When I turn bridge volume up and touch metal to the neck pole pieces I hear sounds so it seems mine does have this special wiring where only the neck volume is used for both pickups in middle position, very interesting. -
Store I went to said their allocated inventory is almost all preordered and it's showing as discontinued on their suppliers system which means they won't be getting any more. I'm beginning to doubt this is a core range guitar and more likely a limited edition. That isn't to say they do a non signature model next like happened with the Supernova->Riviera II. These preorders will take months to arrive and the signature 355 isn't even due til March.

Nice to see yours has the pick-guard attached. I remember thinking it was crazy these were shipped without and we had to risk drilling a hole ourselves.

Hopefully the volute helps against neck cracks. Glad they went with a slim neck vs the old fat necks of the Dot etc. Maybe they'll release it in more colours next year, e.g. tobacco sunburst would be nice and even better without the £200 signature premium.

A demo video is here on Village Guitar's Youtube Personally I thought it sounded a bit rough but could just be the amp or mics.
