  1. You can't copy a concactenated link and expect it to work. It won't. Ever. http://www.guitardaterproject.org/epiphone.aspx
  2. Well, if you ever get to Texas, tell me! I might be in a position to take it off your hands after our house is rebuilt. Got burned out in August... -Rod-
  3. You don't need that junky old 5150 do you? lol -Rod-
  4. Congratulations! I hope you two are happy together lol -Rod-
  5. I see that short toggle. Interesting. I haven't opened the back panel of my Anniversary Flood. lol
  6. Very very nice! Is it for sale? -Rod-
  7. I could go broke doing that, 10% at a time :D
  8. Thanks for the link! While I knew the story, I hadn't seen that article nor the photos. I understand that the swirls in the paint booth are to stay there, though I'm not sure how they'll keep them from being covered over time. Cool photos :)
  9. I was wrong about the price at the other shop. It's the same as ZZ's but I sure didn't get 10% off. Ah well. I once had the Wine Studio LP, btw. It's the one Gibson I just didn't care for. The gold was nice with the wine but the action, at least on mine, or for me, just didn't make it. It seemed clunky.
  10. That's a honey of a guitar, good enough to eat!
  11. I think it has the potential to be a good investment too. Time will tell :)
  12. Yeah, it's a great looker and a great player too...better than I am. As far as I know Gibson's finished their run but they are still available. The last I saw, americanmusical.com still had at least one, possibly more. It's like $1579, shipping included. Mine came in flawless condition. -Rod-
  13. I think it's going to be great :) Your nick..you have a Peavey 5150? I had one until around 2004 or 2005, the 5150 II Combo. That was one hot amp! I wish I still had it. Wish I still had the tubes! -Rod-
  14. It plays as well as the Standards I lost in the fire. If I had one wish, is that it would have come with open pickups. I could put Seymour Duncans in, and may yet, but with what this one cost...nearly up there with a new Standard...I really don't want to devalue it by making even temporary alterations. My new amp is yet to arrive, should be here Thursday, and if they go good together I'll likely forego the new pickups. I tried to get some really good pics, and did, but none showed what this guitar really looks like. Thanks for your comments :) BTW, in the fire I also lost my Digitech GNX4 and Fender Pro tube amp. In fairness to the wife, I replaced both with a Line6 Spider MKIV 150w combo amp and foot controller. More power but I'm going to miss rolling my own with the GNX4, even though the Line6 has effects up the wazoo. It's not the same.
