Surprised at no mention of Coil-Tapping in new models? I bought my Alpine White Les Paul Custom from zzSounds, came w/ Signature case, all paperwork, sticker, and "cable". Was set up almost perfect, but to my surprise, on the volume pots were 2 cut out circles stating Coil-Tapping Equipped! Was very surprised that only a few of these were showing up on other forums. Sweetwater is were I do most of buying, being I live in Indiana, but got same guitar, at lower cost-with Sig. case and the Coil-Tapping, was I just lucky, or is this not "standard", because mentioned nowhere in description of such an option. Just confused, but not complaining by any means, no pick up swapping here, she screams, or she can be mellow-yellow! Some people should be curious as to what all this means, just thought I would bring it to notice. Still love Sweetwater, but w/ a case, all documentation, and Coil-Tapping!, for less from zzSounds, some of you might want to check them out, have payment options, and very curtious customer service, as I was curious about the Coil-Tapping. I'm sorry long and sloppy, just something I was curious about, and others may be as well. Couldn't be happier with Epi, and will never overpay for a guitar, you just have to play a few, and the guitar will pick you! Thanks for a wonderful product!
