  1. I have played some really nice PRS guitars - pretty looking mind you.... never hugely impressed by the tone and a McCarty was one of them... to each his own. I am quite happy with my Gibsons (cough and fenders)... sorry Paul.
  2. Hi - unfortunately I sold it already, sorry!

  3. What is your asking price for the Midtown and where at in Pa. do you live. I live in the Cleveland, Oh area and am willing to drive to Pa. to eliminate shipping.

    Thanks, KennyV

  4. Here is a guitar I used to have- lp vintage mahogany with replacement p94s - And one I still own - And an ink and trans black BFG
  5. I have a Firebird Studio which I use for rock... A Studio Non-Reverse Firebird on order - which rock as well. Both I am sure can handle other genres. There are the other models as well the V, VII, and the CS Non-Reverse Firebird (which I am sure is a really nice guitar).
  6. Firebirds have a different sound in general but I think it would have to deal with comfort and balance as they are big guitars
  7. It really depends on your style of playing as they are high output pickups. My experience with them is they are clear sounding, I have them in my Explorer that I am selling (check out the trading post). I found that changing the cap in the guitar made a world of difference with those particular pickups. Otherwise I am fan of Burstbuckers and P-90s
  8. I'd like to see another issue of non-reverse birds again, I'd buy one! I liked the one released in 2002-2003ish - Burstbuckers #2 and #3
