Thanks Again I buy StewMac tools all the time.... ya they are pricey, but they have always made projects easier.... especially for a hobbyist like myself that needs all the help they can get

Most of all my Gibson's have been switched out to the Tim Shaw era pickups. I still have four pairs from my buying spree from 2010 to 2012 where I purchases a total of 20 pairs. Now they are just too expensive. For me they have a nice bitey tone with tons of clarity whether you are distorted or clean. Of all the Gibson pups I have tried, for me the Tim Shaw era pups are by far the best for what I do. See the below video when I first received my Pro Tools Recording program and I recorded a little guitar lick using my VOX AC50 and my 1980 Les Paul Custom.

Sorry to hear that, but I think teachers (especially in todays environment) are at such a disadvantage because teachers are now baby sitters, and have to deal with disconnected parents that spend most of their time with their faces planted in their iPhones, when they should be reading to their kids and participating in their school assignments.... and the reality is generally kids and teenagers are shitheads... In my generation while in school I've experienced many disruptive kids. My mom especially, taught us that our function while at school was not to critique the teachers, but to contextualize what the books would show us, and if we needed clarity you raise your hand to get the needed assistance.

thanks for the info. Do you think I might be going over-board with a belt sander if it needs extra shaping? I also have diamond blade nut slotting tools if I have to go deeper with the nut slots. I have always thought bone nuts were the more denser material, but compared to this #6 material bone is like butter.

Never-mind..... I'm just going to put this thing aside. There's a guy on eBay that already sells these kind of nuts pre-slotted and shaped for the most part.... I'm going to order a belt sander if I have to do anything more to it.

I need some help. What in gods name tool am I'm going to need to shape a #6 material nut????? The material seems to resist sand paper and files. I'm also worried about my groove cutter tools as well. Thanks in advanced.
