Too bad you can't get a PhD by taking a multiple choice test. I found most of those questions to be decidedly highschool-ish. And too many questions were about Shakespeare or the bible. What if your PhD is in mathematics?

He was great, and the band is top notch.

Good to hear my old bandmate Brian Ray is keeping in good form. Of course, he was always on top of his playing.

It is quite hard work selling guitars and very easy to buy! [unsure]

    Hahaha. Wise words there!

But what is the point of having an top of the line boutique and hand made beauty or 3 while keeping the mid range or entry level numbers?

I used to play them all, but now the Guilds are getting all the play. I'm looking to keep a few of my favorite Epiphones, but as you imply, there's little point in keeping the rest. It's "quite hard work" though putting them on the block and shipping them off, and they're typically not worth that much....

Hi, Cougar! I, too, am humbled by your post in the crazy gig thread. As a Cryptkicker, you've been there and back. Thanks for sharing your story and your cat affection! Peace!

    Hey Dennis,
What do you recommend? The seller said he just got the Guild set up and new strings, so I haven't changed them yet. I think I'll take it down to my tech and have him check it over and restring it while he's at it. ;^)
    Hey Retired,
Sorry I missed your comment until now. Yeah, I picked up an ES339 Pro, and I don't use the split coil much. I l...

What brand and gauge of strings are you using on your 12 string(s) currently?

Hi Cougar. Thanks for the help on the Epiphone. I did get the black Standard, it plays and sounds great. My cousin who taught me to play had a black Gibson with white trim, always thought it was cool. I could have gone a $100.00 over the budget for a Pro, but now have enough extra for a Blues Pedal. Thanks again for your help.
