  1. Did a cool Against Me! cover on my front porch today. The original version is from the band's album "New Wave" and is a pretty cool punk rock duet. Enjoy!
  2. Nowadays it seems like I only do these once a month vice weekly. Oh well, not enough time I guess. This is a song about the murders of Trayvon Martin and Yousef Hawkins that my punk band wrote. This is my acoustic version of the song. Enjoy! - Jason
  3. Yes - this is my best sounding acoustic unplugged...
  4. I got back on the porch today to record this little Lindi Ortega ditty on my Doves In Flight acoustic Gibson. Enjoy! Jason
  5. Here is the latest video from the porch. This time on tour at Bethany Beach Delaware and I am joined by my other lovely niece, Ella Teal. We took on Katy Perry for a little change of pace!
  6. Here is my video this week (a little late though). My niece from Arizona came to visit and we sang a song I wrote for my mom which happened to be the first front porch blues video. Enjoy!
  7. Here is my video for the week. It's a cover of Holly Williams' "Railroads" from her album "The Highway". Enjoy.
  8. Thanks for the comments everyone. Larry, I either record these with my wife's iPad or like this weekend, my iPhone. They are pretty good recording devices. I put them pretty close to me which may account for the sound. What did your friend use to record you?
  9. This week I felt like a litte bit of Springsteen whilst sitting on my beautiful front porch on the first day of summer!
  10. I have been recording in the studio and playing gigs the last couple of weeks so couldn't get around to making a video. Here is the latest - my take on Chuck Berry's "Maybellene". Enjoy.
  11. Thanks for the tip. You're right, when I play it without my drummer I do tend to speed it up a bit too much.
