  1. Taylor is great. He made this Guard for a guitar my friend made for me based on a 1930’s Black Recording King (made by Gibson). The Tuxedo look. -- https://www.behance.net/gallery/174396379/Wri/modules/984770847 https://www.behance.net/gallery/174396379/Wri/modules/984770847
  2. What a great story. So glad your health is better, Guitars are magical and they connect us with the living and the dead.
  3. Thought so. 😉 Sorry to hijack this thread, but I tried to send you an email to buy “In The Red Room”but I’m not sure if it was the correct email. Feel free to write me at cooptig@gmail.com if there are any CD copies left to purchase. Now please carry on regarding the guitar in question. 😀
  4. I agree that this is probably a ‘67 that someone replaced out the adjustable bridge with a “traditional” bridge. Also as has been stated, the original Pickguard has been replaced (should be the bat wing). Hard to tell if it is a stripped J-45 or a J-50. I’ll bet it sounds great! Also as an aside to the OP, I am a fan of your work.

  6. Lo Fi Recording on an iPhone with a Rode Mic-Me plugged in.
  7. Hey Folks! With little to no gigging for the past year I have been releasing a Single A Month recording with a lo-fi iPhone with a Rode MicMe plugged into it. I then get it Mastered at a studio here in New Orleans. This song was recorded with the ‘48 J-50 Body/‘38 L-00 neck. You do not need to download to listen to the whole song. I hope everyone is well! https://patrickcooper.bandcamp.com/track/oil-city
  8. There is no mention anywhere in the two videos of torrefication, which leads me to believe the answer is no, but it will interesting to see the detailed specs when they are released by Music Villa. 👍
  9. True! That $6500 is for the non Braz offerings.
  10. Well, after hearing from Chad at Music Villa I have learned the pricing will be as I feared (actually worse). The instruments will be in the neighborhood of $6500. Oh well. It was fun to dream!
