    Today we had a plumber come to the house to fix a leaky pipe in the basement, no problem that was done.

    Later i showed him a faucet in our bathroom that always lets water drip every time it is in the off position but if you turn it a bit into the on position, it turns off. Thanks the numerical people in the household you can't simply make everyone turn the knob a bit to the left to the turn the water off even though you supposed to turn it to the right.

    Anyways, i asked him if he could fixed that. He said no he was a "Pipe and Toilet" specialized plumber and that i have to call a specialist in faucets. The hell?

    So Piegon sent me another kit to replace the lost one. This one showed up in like two or three days! It was my choice PayPal refund or replacement kit. Since it was only like $20 I took the kit. Have not built it yet though.

    The Wee Beaver looks pretty cool. It's actually a lot more work to cram a circuit into a small box like that so I wouldn't knock the price. It's pretty fair if it sounds really good.

    I've seen the builder post his stuff in the DIY pics thread at ilovefuzz and it looks really nice but I haven't tried any of their stuff in person.
    I think Kayzer (aka xtimehascomex on YouTube) has some demos of their stuff.
    What are you scopin out by them?

    It's not mine the builder sent one around for people to try out fo free. It sounds really awesome don't get me wrong. I just prefer the sound and controls of my **** od. But yeah I took the elements to band practice and it ****in rips. Sounds amazing boosting my cranked ac30 and can get br00tal like nothing else

    Yo dem00n I've got the elements in da house. I took it to band practice and it kicks ***. I'm still getting familiar with it so it's not really fair to say, but at this point I think my smallsound/bigsound f uck overdrive sounds better.

    Georges Bataille is a continentalist, and my school doesn't seem to cover continentalist philosophies (existentialism, pragmatism, nihilism etc.) as much as they do the analytic philosophies (i.e. logical positivism, formal logic etc.), but I do read some Bataille in my spare time. I really like reading Nietzsche and Sartre, two philosophers you should definitely familiarize yourself with.

    But yeah, definitely go where your interests lead you--and don't be afraid to apply for "safety" schools. Those places can have some of the best professors hiding out there. McDaniel was my safety and it ended up being awesome. It's really all about being comfortable socially and being challenged academically at the same time.

    Oh, nice! EE is a great field--I was considering going to Lafayette for that, but they waitlisted me and then I decided to go to McDaniel before they sent me my acceptance letter. I'm not upset, though--my interests changed and now I'm a film major/philosophy minor. Also there are a lot of cute girls here and they don't mind if you smoke cigars in the open.
