  1. Been using them without issue for years and years.... Over twenty guitars, all kinds, no issues....
  2. I never had any real issues with them. It's mostly a question of what i am trying to accomplish with a string change. Sometimes I want to wake the guitar up, and, for me, these strings do that.
  3. I use the Elixirs mostly on guitars that don't get played as often because they can sit in the case forever and never lose that new string sound.
  4. Hi, All, Couple of quickie questions:was this guitar built with torrified top? What strings did Gibson ship these with?
  5. Yes -- "Limited Edition" on the label
  6. Hi, All, I have a 2021 J45 RW Custom Shop Build. Is the top torrified?
  7. Yes. Interesting that you mentioned the Martin. I traded a really nice D28 re imagined for this guitar, and both of us couldn't be happier.... Point is, these Gibbys are right there with the best of CFM....
  8. However, this one has snowflake inlays on the fingerboard, bound headstock and neck.
  9. Really a fine piece. Fit and finish exquisite. Tone beast. Plays perfectly. Snappy highs, deep lows. Very alive and loud.
  10. Hi, All, Was looking for a rosewood J45 and got this one in a trade for a 2017 Martin D28. Seems unique in that it has the "CUSTOM SHOP" label on the back of the neck and "Limited Edition" on the orange label. Headstock is unlike any I have seen. Anyone have any insight into this guitar? Thanks!
  11. I think I just bought this guitar from you a month or so ago. Ha! Small world... I'm digging it!
  12. Problem solved. I have a 1968 Epiphone Cortez that I bought a new EPI case for -- and the Emmy fits it like a glove https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EL0CS--epiphone-el-0cs
  13. You may be right. Gonna do some measuring. I have an Epi case (EL-OCS) for my 1968 Cortez that I tried and it's too small, width-wise. So the one you suggested may be the one. Thanks
