  1. Epi DR100

    04 April 2017 - 05:26 PM

So I bought an Epi DR100 a couple of years ago, figuring I needed a "beater" guitar. Well, this thing is just amazing for the price. Question is this: I'm thinking of going to bone bridge pins, nut, and saddle. Will it/they make much of a difference? Any input appreciated. BTW, I'm using the same strings I do on all my acoustics - D'Addario EXP 80/20 12's. Also, resale is not an issue here, just personal preference.
  2. Are you a Mario Andretti fan?

    18 March 2017 - 03:28 PM

Tune in to CBS Sunday morning:

I'll admit to being a "fan boy" if you will, but this guy is truly "bad a$$". He's done it all and won it all (well, except for LeMans).
  3. History Lesson on Casino's

    03 February 2017 - 06:00 PM

Not sure if any of you got this (or even care LOL), but here's a pretty interesting articel on the Casino.

As a Casino owner, I enjoyed it.
  4. Played some Buddy Holly today

    03 February 2017 - 05:14 PM

It just seemed right. Peggy Sue, Not Fade Away, Words of Love.
The Day the Music Died in one sense, but those songs are almost as old as I am, and still sound good today (to me at least) RIP Buddy, Ritche, JP and Roger (the pilot) too.

Just think, if not for a case of the flu and a coin toss, Tommy Alsup and Waylon Jennings would have been on that plane.

Edit: just noticed my "sub topic". Didn't mean to imply that today was 2/3/59, but that's the "Day...etc"
  5. Apologies to my Ausse Mate's

    Well, you know...
