  1. In a few years you will not be able to tell the difference between the NCAA college sports and the NFL, NBA, or MLB.
  2. I belong to the Ugly HedgeHog forum. One of the sub forums is called the Attic. There you can say anything, anyway you want. You can cuss out a forum member if you so desire. It’s free speech. Maybe we need one of those here. I also belong to the acoustic guitar forum. I once said something to really upset the moderators and they banned me for life. After a year I begged for a second chance and it was granted. So, in whatever forum I happen to be in I am very careful what I write. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to bite my fingers and keep my fingers off the keyboard.
  3. Didn’t realize I’d create such a stir with this post, but, now that I have it secured I won’t have to replace the battery for 1000 hours
  4. Took it out of the case to play and heard something heavy rattling around. A flashlight revealed the battery box had come loose. And not just loose, but tangled. After unstringing it took awhile to untangle the wires. Found out the double sided Velcro was not even sticky. Down to the hardware store for some double sided tape. Relocated the battery box to an easier access location. Restring and back playing. Disappointed 3k guitar needed fixin after one week. Thankful it was something I could fix. . .WITH PATIENCE. I may have developed some new swear words. Thanks, Gibson.
  5. On My Sweetwater wish list is a Walnut J 45. Today I noticed a price drop of $500. My first reaction is: why? Would anyone have a plausible idea why. I’m tempted to jump on this, even though I can’t afford to.
  6. I divorced my first one about 8 years ago. I never knew how much I loved her until she was gone. Even though I cried buckets she just wasn’t coming back. Fortunately, fate smiled and gave me another chance. I’ll never let this one go. My new Songwriter should arrive in a few days. I’ll never let this one go. I’m guessing some of you may have had a few regrets like mine.
  7. I have a 2021 Breedlove Oregon series, spruce top with myrtle-wood b\s. Great for finger style. I’d sell my Taylor 717 before I’d part wit h my Breedlove. Of course, my main guitar is my newly acquired Songwriter std. my Breedlove will probably collect dust
  8. After a brief hiatus from this forum I’m back. Due to some medical issues with my wife’s health I had to sell my three Gibsons. They were a Songwriter, SJ200 and a J 35. I’m now determined to get them back. I’ll start with the less expensive J35, then to the Songwriter. I doubt I’ll ever be able to obtain an SJ200 Hope to re-educate myself and relearn from this forum. Dennis
