About Me

Lifelong musician.
Gibson lover, although I do own and play some other brands.

My current main axe is a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Studio Copper Top.
Am I alone in this?

Am I alone?

Spark, love the sentiment,To be fair, I did express a wish for all of them to die painlessly.
(And then to get eaten by sharks, who are technically God's creatures, in their own pointy-toothed way.)
    That counts for something, right?

I'm playing a large gig in northern Alabama on 11 December as a matter of fact.
The weather is chilly, but usually dry and quite nice in the afternoons.

I do believe it is a 1968 model.
The serial numbers changed in August of that year, and all the research I did led me to believe that yours is a '9' starting number aligning with early 1968.
Do you live near a big city, where a proper appraisal house might be?

I accidentally removed you as my friend sorry do not do well with new sites. I have done several things wrong ph well. I also was informed I do not have a 1968 but from all I have researched I do and the information you gave I do.And the folks at the store where I buy strings and they once sold Gibson and is a collector says I do. Some folks just can't believe such things really happen.

I really do recommend that you get it professionally-appraised, Robin.
It would make life much easier in the long run.
