I just didn't know how exactly that whole thing worked out with the serial number thanks for clearing that up. Yeah it felt odd, kinda rough, but confused me. Normally finishes are smooth but is this just how this one was was supposed to be?

I bought an Epiphone Casino from Reverb in a Natural Finish, I ran the Serial number inside the f holes and it was found to have been made in 2010 in china, which I expected. The logo shape on the head stock also matched with others that I searched for on the internet. But the one thing that leaves me skeptical was that it doesn't have a number on the back of the head stock and it feels very coarse, and I couldn't feel the finish on the guitar. Is this normal for natural casinos or is it most likely fake? The seller has very high reviews on reverb.
