  1. Hello, I have been registered for several months but I had not thought about introducing myself. I am French and I live in Paris. I am a middle school music teacher and I teach children in the age range of 11 to 15 years old. I am passionate about music and guitar and today I focus on jazz. I have just bought my sixth Gibson, a magnificent ES 275 Custom. This guitar is made for me, I think it's the guitar I dreamed of to jazz like a cat. I also have a DC special Les Paul, a J35, an L48 from (1964), an ES 135, an ES 339 (CS from 2007), and my very last as I said a magnificent ES 275 Custom figured.
  2. Only the ES 339 prototype was designed/built at CS Nashville. So it is indeed a creation of CS Nashville. Some leading luthiers from CS Nashville supervised the start-up of the first 500 CS “stamped” examples, but this time in the Memphis factory. When the supervising luthiers were distributed among the fold, the CS logo disappeared. The CS Logo is there to remind future collectors of the 339 CS that they are part of the first "original" productions and are therefore not replicas of originals but the first series.
  3. Thanks for the advice, in fact I would like to try, but I'm not sure if I like it... Can you remove a Bigsby and return to the initial position without leaving a trace?
  4. Probably a Bigsby would add a serious look, and make the sound better. The only problem is that I don't use vibrato anymore, and I don't like Bigsby...
  5. Hello Casino compagny 🙂 I recently purchased a Casino Worn. I find that there is a very good value for money. The woods are certainly not of as good quality as the epi US. It's a cheap guitar but is very pleasant to play. I think the guitar sounds really good. And as said before, the new PU P90 Pro are in Alnico V, and have a warm sound and the highs are not garish. The only negative point is that the frets are poorly placed, and I had to plan the neck. I also changed the tune o matic, because with it it's impossible to properly adjust the guitar, I put a Gotoh instead. And now all is allright. I really like this guitar and I think it's a great success for a very small price. Me and my Casino Worn here I present it to you with a little blues played in a hurry, I will leave in doing another better one in my studio
  6. Here my new Qingdao Casino Worn. A very cheap guitar but a very plaisant Casino to play and very good sound with the new PU Epiphone P90 Pro. I invite all Casino Worn owners to post their videos here!
  7. Me and mine here without no upgrade... new pickups Epiphone P90 Pro Alnico V Sound's good !!!
  8. Very beautiful P90 machine... :-) The 57 Epiphone pick-up sounds good maybe it’s better with a new Gibson electronic and a 57 classic!
  9. Hi guys I speak to you from the other side of the Atlantic, from Paris. I read the topic and I just found a used Zephyr Regent for a good price. I am a music teacher and I play jazz in my free time. I found in the topic, everything I like in this guitar and that's why I bought it. I like the old school guitar sound, that warm, dark sound you've all described. I think I'll change the pickup for a PAF 57 or maybe an Hep Cat SD (P90). Mine is a 2007 model made in Korea, Unsung Factory. You all have older models and another factory, but I found in your article the same thing that I like in my guitar. This guitar has a typical jazz sound and I like it. I have it for a week. Here in France is a rare guitar. But now I have one. Mine here in this picture. I'll give him his pickguard, change the pickup and electronics. I am happy to share with you the same passion for my ZR. Hello from Paris.
  10. Hello Guys, I put an Humbucker "Benedetti" French manufacture on my Frenchy L48 Gibson. You can hear the sound here on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UpkfB3M1Z4
