  1. I wouldn't use windex on the guitar. Use a product made for cleaning wood I am sure the music store will have what you need. Nice looking guitar by the way looks like it was worth the drive.
  2. Guitars are tools and art. So I have my art on display and clean the dust off as required and enjoy looking at them each time I enter the guitar room. I try not to damage any of my guitars of course but since I do play them every day they do have wear and tear, some bumps and bruises. But to me they are the scars of a life that was exciting, fun and not spent living inside a case.
  3. Glue it back its not normal wear and tear. If you are handy do it yourself if not take it to a reputable shop and they will do it for you.
  4. To keep a consistent volume and sound from song to song I leave the guitar at 10 and use the effects pedals for any changes. Helps keep the sound tech at gigs happy.
  5. I really don't like the look of the pick guard on the Les Paul. It appears like it was an afterthought to the design. I left it off mine.
  6. I found a pic of the Les Paul working out as well.
  7. Here is a pic of my Les Paul. The maximum file size is challenging.
  8. Congratulations! I also have wanted one my whole life and finally my wife gave me the green light for my 60th birthday and now my other guitars don't get allot of exercise. I absolutely love my Les Paul Standard.
  9. I feel bad for purchaser he obviously has some sort of mental issue.
  10. That is a nice looking guitar congrats.
