  1. I totally agree with JT. Antique Acoustics are great. I replaced the Tusq pins on my J-45 Vintage. https://www.martinsmusikkiste.eu/bau-ersatzteile/gitarre/saitenstecker/antiqueacoustics/36386/ps025-03sl-slotted-1946-1970s https://www.martinsmusikkiste.eu/bau-ersatzteile/gitarre/saitenstecker/antiqueacoustics/31516/ps025-02sl-fuer-martin-43-70
  2. Unfortunately no close-ups from the tuning posts. Guess this is the first method he described. I keep it pretty simple. I also take off all strings at once.
  3. Try John Pearse PB Lights: https://www.juststrings.com/jps-600l.html They darken the tone a bit and give it a clear, deep and thumpy bass. Overall the best strings for my 2016 J-45 Vintage. A close second for me are d'Addario EJ-16.
  4. Beautiful! Enjoy it! My J45 Vintage 2016 is by far my favorite guitar.
