  1. I was shocked at the lack of demand for my TV. It was on Reverb and Denver Craigslist for 2 weeks @ $3000. Nothing, not even a message. Not at all about the guitar, it's that demand has dried up. Great market though for the few buyers around.
  2. "Buyer" was enthusiastic til it was time to pay.
  3. The window to acquire this fabulous J45 has closed.
  4. She was a Jersey girl Who went out west And came home again Loving both the best Wherever she lived Always stayed True If you're lucky enough She might stay with you
  5. Frets show very minimal wear. And yes, Sal and I have been moving this one back and forth for a couple years. I finally decided I play the wider nuts much better. I wish this one had the neck of the Custom Historic SJ that was in house for a while. I like the Cali case, but this is my first experience with the Hiscox and it is much lighter, very nice.
  6. Some of you may recognize this monster TV. A fabulous J45 on all fronts ... Tone, looks and playability. Excellent+ condition. A real gem, but I play the wider nuts significantly better ... so here we go. $2850 shipped USA ****Modifications********** J50 style pick guard K&K mini pickup Hiscox ivory case strap button ************ Action is dialed in, 4/64 and 5.5/64, plenty of saddle. Freshly strung with D'addario EJ16s. Experienced shipper. Link to Flickr photo album with photos https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBajZc
  7. Otis Redding died before he could record "To Love Somebody" but the Bee Gees wrote it for him.
  8. FULL MARKS! This is just wonderful, Dave.
  9. I played all three of the Gs when they came out. Thought the 00 had a chance. The 200 sounded pretty good but I thought it was considerably overpriced at $2K. Wildwood Guitars has finished up a year and a half run where every J200 they got in sold immediately. . They have had three G200s this whole time they got in when model was first released. I don't think they have sold a single one. I expect this line to disappear.
  10. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
  11. Always enjoyed your acoustic interpretations. Following your bliss is always encouraged. That blue TX guitar was a cool rig. Cheers.
  12. I would match my favorite neck with my favorite tone. True Vintage + the neck of the current Custom Historic 1942 SJ with 1.77 nut. I do like the dry tone of the 40s and think the current baked tops do a good job of recreating that. Personal preference for the smooth rich tone of the TV.
