  1. Well even after checking old posts, old links, and actually making two requests from Gibson/Epiphone.......the end result, "no Manual" -Anyone have a manual? -Specifically I am wanting to hook up the output from a Line 6 POD to the clean channel on the amp. I can see that channel 2 is actually the clean channel option. Now the question is 1) do I just run the out put from the POD to the guitar input of the amp? (sounds very weak and poor sound quality), or 2) Do I run the output from the POD to the rear FX loop send-return? Or whatever suggestion you may have. Been too many years since I was on the forum, and finally remember my PW and User Best Regards Don
  2. Any stock or "near stock" saddle replacement for Epiphone Masterbilt DR500 M. Doesn’t matter if it’s bone or Tusq. 72mmx8mmx3mm 14” radius I noted that the fretboard radius is 14” by the printed specs for the guitar, and honestly not many 14” radius saddle choices around. I have used Bob Colosi before and he does superb work, but is a bit pricey at 28 bills plus 7 ship. I have spoken with stewmac/allparts and no available precut. They have 14” radius saddles but only at 70 mm length. If I could find something close at that radius to sand down, other than a blank (I am not good at building an appropriate saddle). My local luthier is closed due to the plague but I would guess that it would be 75, since he would have to fit and set up . Wondering what anyone has used previously on a DR500 Masterbilt Thanks
  3. I would have given a "blanket" endorsement of any Korean made guitar over Chinese, but after picking up a Chinese made Masterbilt, I am impressed indeed. The Chinese know how to make guitars and it's all about quality assurance and following the design to the letter. Bravo China
  4. Saw and old post where you put Gotoh tuners in your casino. I hae that exact guitar without the bigsby. i would really like to put those exact tuners in mine. Can you please tell me exactly where you got them? i cannot find those anywhere on the net.

    thank you in advance.

  5. Doing two tasks at once, such as singing and playing the guitar just takes a bit of practice and determination, and no doubt you will accomplish that in time. Once you get it down, you will forget you had the problem to begin with. The last time I tried to incorporate an added task while playing the guitar ended in a well remembered failure. At the time I had been repeatedly watching an SRV tape for several weeks, trying to learn some things. One day, that inner brilliant light bulb came on, and I had a genius idea. I decided why not kill two birds with one stone and decided to practice some SRV riffs, (while plugged in), and while walking on my treadmill. Impending disaster some would think (except me.........just a brilliant idea, one of my best). About 20 minutes into it, I fumbled my pick and instinctively turned to grab at it and was immediately flung off the treadmill. Brilliant idea, eh? I still have a neck nick on the back of the strat. that reminds to not play the guitar while on things that are moving. Thank goodness I learned that before I started playing a J45 (the damage would have been less forgiving).
