  1. If there are any Gibson employee's that read the feedback of Gibson and Epiphone enthusiasts like me, it would be greatly be appreciated if you can answer these questions for me, posted here at this Forum. I am an information and fact junkie - we also have no recent you tube videos 2020- 2021 that covers a tour of the QC department in the USA, or the process flow once shipped back. We have great detail of the QC check for Gibson, why not show a tour for Epiphone. Is no one interested? Schecter does something similar with the imports coming back to the USA. Specifically strange with question #5 below for Epiphone. Here are the questions I posted to the Gibson Technical Support @ Gibson.com, but I did not receive any details back. 1. Where are Epiphone's designed? In Nashville, TN? I know that manufacturing is in Qingdao China now (manufacturing is a different topic) 2. When the manufacturing is completed in China- what is the process for the QC? Where is the QC checking being done? What is being checked? 3.Is the shipment being sent back to the QC Department Epiphone in Nashville, TN? 4.Is the QC being done both in China and in the USA Nashville, TN? 5.There used to be a sticker on the back of the headstock that read "Inspected and Setup in the USA" This also had an inspector number, but no new appearances of Epiphone photos from retailer's have this inspection sticker; Why is that?
  2. If this is brand new and you are not happy I would return it. But if may make a suggestion, take five or ten minutes out of your time to speak with Gibson/Epiphone customer service Explain to them the situation, I am guessing it has the QC sticker on the back. It certainly should not have left the factory like that, they may even offer to send you a replacement or see if they can solve the issue for your - whether a refund or other solution. If you do call, please share with us your experience. I am still very interested in finding out more about the Epiphone QC. I spoke to them recently and they told me that their QC department does the intonation and Setup and checking, If was bought from a retailer they also should check the condition before it is sold. Cheers!
  3. All the Epiphones's have a sticker on the back of the neck. Inspected in the USA Are you saying that the Epiphone 59 Les Paul will be QC checked by Gibson QC instead of Epiphone QC? Please correct me if I am wrong.
