NEW - Slash AFD Les Paul Special II

I know, I know...another Slash signature guitar. But this one is pretty sweet. Probably one of the nicest looking Special II models that Epiphone has produced and it comes with the new Ceramic Plus pickups, which I know nothing about. The really cool thing about this guitar, though, is that it comes with the Shadow pickup-ring E-tuner like you see on the Ultra models. Thats is just awesome in and of itself.

I dont normally get excited about Les Paul Special II's and signature guitars, but this tuner is such an awesome move for Epiphone to include on a non-Ultra guitar. I really hope that they decide to keep putting these tuners on more models. This would make a great option for any guitar.

I have a NEW Les Paul Special II Ltd. in vintage sunburst. Thinking about selling it and pre-ordering this nice work of art. I think this ia a nice move on Epis' part. Love the maple top. I think I'm going to go ahead and pre-order and woryy about selling the other one later.

Looks like a similar top to the Wildkat "natural", which, to me is extremely nice.

Nice looking guitar also. Can't afford one like that. Nice guitar you have and love that top also. Epi made a LP Special II in a trans blue, like to have that one also.

That Slash model looks nice. I like the black Special II Plus Top a lot, and should have snatched one up when I could. I still might, and do the same mods to it as my 1995 Special II (SH-6 bridge, stock SAM SUNG neck, 50s out-of-phase wiring, new nut, tuners, etc. etc. etc...).

Seems like a very good value for the money. For only $30 more than a regular Special II you're getting a flame veneer, bound body, and the Shadow tuner.

Looks really nice, too.

It's funny (weird?) that my most inexpensive Epi (elec anyway) is the only one with F hole binding:

I have an Elitist Casino, Dot, and the Wildkat. Kat has binding.

I have an Epiphone Emperor Swingster. Sells in the $699 range and has F-hole binding

I think the Joe Pass has it too
