DownInFlames
Hello, My Father had this guitar for many years. He passed away recently and I found the guitar sitting in his home. I have searched the web for info on this guitar but have not been able to find much. As you can imagine, this guitar has enormous sentimental value to me, could someone please share some information about it? I have attached 2 pictures of the actual guitar, I hope you can help me. Many thanks for reading this. Kind regards, Nicolas
j45nick
I've never seen that particular model, but it looks pretty cool. Looks like it might have rosewood back and sides, rather than mahogany.

Yggdrasil
I think we may have been corresponding by email. I have a burst version; my serial number dates it as Jan. 3,1995 - about a month earlier than yours. Mine has a 1994 Centennial case (printed on the internal cover). My label says J-45 Deluxe, i.e. no "SJ". - 95 J45 Deluxe

DownInFlames
Thank you all very much for your kind words. I will definitely keep it as it holds great memories :) It has not been easy to find information about this guitar, thanks for your comments. Yggdrasil, yours looks great, thanks for posting pics. The one difference I see, other than the color, is that on mine, the piece below the tuners does not have the word "Deluxe" written on it, being just plain black.
