I live in Pennsylvania and it is a couple hundred mile drive to the closest retailer that has them in New York. When I was in the UK last year, I got to try one out and I was pretty impressed. The two channels are not that different - channel 2 is slightly more trebly and slightly more gain - and that's fine with me. I don't ever need a clean channel for what I play - if I want it cleaner, I'll just roll off some volume on the guitar. I tried the Countess 30 (which is actually 42W!), and the clean channel didn't dirty up enough for my taste. As I understand it, these amps take pedals very well, so I am going to experiment with my boost pedals too. I have to say, this is better quality than my old EVH - on max boost, there is literally almost no hiss at all. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
