raine
Hello, Here is my latest acquisition. Buy on Gibson Retail Center in Memphis. Gibson Les Paul Custom Limited R7 Blackwidow 25. Certain calls Widowburst ... As its name suggests it is therefore a limited edition of 25 copies worldwide. It was made there about 2 months in Nashville Custom Shop. The neck has a '57 profile (thicker than any other profile Gibson currently makes), ebony fretboard, mother of pearl inlays on the fretboard and headstock, a chambered mahogany body and flame maple top, and two Burstbucker Pro pickups. Delivered by Hardcase Gibson Custom with its certificate of authenticity, a jack ... Like all the Custom Shop ... It was still a sacred character and look! Cam in alberta
Welcome to the forum. Nice guitar, sorry ,but it's not vintage. should have posted in Les Paul section
raine
Sorry, my fault, I read Gibson vintage and rare and collectible instead of vintage Gibson guitars and rare collectibles. And as it is a limited edition ... I'll post in the topic Les Paul. .
mcmurray
I'm trying to pick my jaw up from the floor as I type this. Wow, that's phenomenal! Did you travel to Memphis in person to buy that? Any chance of posting some higher res pics? Talk about a collectors item.
raine
sorry for my late reply ... Yes, I made the trip in person to buy the guitar. I left the USA to visit the showcase in Nashville and the Gibson factory in Memphis for my Anniversary. I had planned to buy a model but I wanted to see guitares on site and both showcase before choosing. Because they have many models .... And some rare or not found elsewhere. So I tried many guitares before making my choice on this guitar, Rare, original and high quality. We moved the topics that address or has it yad other info and more photos. @ + http://forums.gibson.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=23489
